Centennial, Wyoming Intimate Wedding at Snowy Range Lodge
Without fail, each and every wedding Chuck and I document has us pinching ourselves — especially when we have the opportunity to travel to document a love story. To no surprise, Sam and Mitch’s Centennial, Wyoming intimate wedding at Snowy Range Lodge was no exception. Capturing their beautiful relationship in such a breathtaking place was truly an honor. Each and every person (and pup) surrounding them highlighted just how treasured this sweet couple truly is.
Intimate wedding at Snowy Range Lodge
Sam and Mitch were one of those couples that were destined to meet. Sam is actually a photographer based in Kansas City, Missouri. Back in 2022, Sam and Mitch (who is from Castle Rock, Colorado) both attended a joint bachelor-bachelorette party in the Ozarks. They immediately hit it off and the rest is literally history. After conquering long-distance for a little more than a year, Mitch relocated to Kansas City where him and Sam now have 2 sweet pups (Ned and Junior). Not even 600+ miles could’ve kept these two from falling in love, which is such a sweet testament to their dedication to one another.
While Sam and Mitch admittedly love the beach, they also wanted to pay homage to their love of the mountains. Mitch spent much of his childhood visiting family near Centennial, Wyoming which made choosing the couple’s wedding location that much easier. And as if this couple wasn’t already the sweetest ever, they wanted to include their dogs on their wedding day (which is absolutely the way to my heart).
On an effortlessly sunny day in Centennial, Wyoming, Sam got ready alongside Junior, Ned, along with her mom and sisters. Once she was ready, she headed out to a dirt path where Mitch was patiently waiting to see his beautiful bride. After big smiles and even bigger hugs, we piled into vehicles with the pups for a little drive. On the way to the Snowy Mountains, we found a serene pullout to snap some portraits with the pups. At the Snowy Mountains, Sam and Mitch exchanged their handwritten vows. The love between these two is truly such a beautiful kind to witness.

After wrapping up some mountain bridal portraits and frolicking to our hearts’ content, we continued driving to Snowy Range Lodge for the couple’s outdoor wedding ceremony. Sam and her dad strolled down the stairs of the charming rustic lodge’s stairs before making their way to the alter. Overlooking a peaceful pond, endless trees, and towering mountaintops, Sam and Mitch said “I do” surrounded by their favorite people (and pups). Before it was official, their rings were passed around as each guest said a prayer for the newlyweds. It was such a sweet way to welcome them into a beautiful marriage.
The rest of Sam and Mitch’s Centennial, Wyoming intimate wedding at Snowy Range Lodge included a delicious dinner, cake, and dancing. During dinner, Sam’s sisters gave a heartfelt speech that really just sealed the deal on how loved Sam (and Mitch) are to all those around them. Before the rest of the dancing broke out on the dance floor, Chuck and I were able to snag the newlyweds away for some sunset romantics. The sun peeking through the pines above the pond felt like magic. It was the perfect way to conclude a romantic small-town wedding in the mountains.
