Enchanting wedding ceremony at Mission Resort + Club

Alternate title for this blog? Shiloh takes FLORIDA! I’m about to let all the Minnesotan in me come out because uffda. Capturing Holly and Aaron’s enchanting Orlando, Florida wedding at Mission Resort + Club was truly a dream come true. Between the breathtaking venue, jam-packed dance floor, and the chemistry between this sweet couple, I will simply never recover from this perfect day.

I first met Holly and Aaron when they inquired about engagement photos in Rocky Mountain National Park. A couple after my own heart — they have a goal of visiting all the national parks together. We met up at Moraine Lake in the Rockies, and were spoiled with the most perfect weather. Immediately upon meeting these Florida lovers, I was blown away by how big of smiles they had during their session; their smiles could light up any room. After delivering Holly and Aaron’s engagement photos, Holly asked if I would be willing to travel to Orland to photograph their wedding. Obviously, it was a no-brainer! From the moment I met this couple, I was captivated by their love story and just how perfectly they fit together — I couldn’t wait to capture their wedding day. Holly and Aaron met while working at Disney World, where Holly literally dresses up as a princess for a living! If I were to think of one person who could actually be Cinderella, it would 100% be Holly. And if Holly is Cinderella, Aaron immediately gave off “Prince Charming” vibes when I met him — especially because of his long hair (remember that, it’ll be important in a bit 😉).

Holly and Aaron said “I do” at the breathtaking Mission Resort + Club. The morning began with the girls and the guys getting ready separately. Once Holly was glam, we snagged some individual bridal portraits in the courtyard before she shared an emotional first look with her dad. And with that, it was time for the ceremony to begin! Guests made their way to their seats among the towering palm trees while Aaron patiently waited for his bride to walk down the aisle. As soon Holly and her dad started to make their way towards Aaron, Holly’s jaw DROPPED. For as long as they’ve been together, Aaron has had long hair. He shocked everyone by chopping his hair — but nobody was as shocked as Holly! The amount of laughter and love in the air during the ceremony was just so heartwarming.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while we took bridal party portraits. Holly and Aaron had such a loving crew surrounding them, which made portraits a breeze. After we wrapped up the group photos, I snagged the couple for romantics. While there are so many moments that I love on wedding days, newlywed photos are my favorite. Between the groom always fiddling with his wedding ring and the giddy exchanges of “WE’RE MARRIED”, they are just my favorite.

After wrapping up the dreamiest photos, it was time to head inside to get the party started. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, an outfit change, and the most packed dance floor that I’ve seen. Before the lights went out on the dance floor, the newlyweds were able to share a last dance (which absolutely had me tearing up). Finally, a tunnel of sparklers lit their way as Holly and Aaron left for the evening to begin their lives together.

Every moment spent documenting Holly and Aaron’s enchanting Orlando, Florida wedding at Mission Resort + Club truly felt like a fairytale. I’d travel to Florida again and again if it meant getting to witness a love story as pure as this couple’s.
