Romantic Colorado Micro-wedding at Maroon Bells Amphitheater
Thereβs no greater honor than being trusted with a coupleβs most special moments β especially their wedding day! Alexie and Corey traveled all the way from Maryland to the mountains of Colorado with 20 of their dearest loved ones in tow to say, βI doβ among the Maroon Bells. Their romantic Colorado micro-wedding at Maroon Bells Amphitheater was nothing short of special. With breathtaking views, a wholesome crew, and a smitten couple, it was the best way to spend a Fall day in the mountains.
Colorado Micro-wedding
If your loved ones are willing to travel over 1,200 miles to see you tie the knot with the love of your life, you are beyond rich in life. The amount of joy on each personβs face on Alexie and Coreyβs wedding day was contagious. Their day started out by getting ready at the Inn at Aspen β just outside the Aspen ski resort. Wedding mornings are always so special to document, and Alexieβs was one for the books. She got ready with her mom, included her sweet bridal party, and incorporated heirloom jewelry from her great-grandma into her bouquet.
Once Alexie was ready, she shared an emotional first look with her bridal party. Her gals and guys had the best reactions to seeing just how gorgeous Alexie looked in her flowing lace gown. After big hugs were shared, and tears were wiped away, Alexie had the chance to share a first look with her dad. The bond between these two was such a beautiful thing to witness, and I know they will cherish the photos (and video) for a lifetime.
Alexie and Corey opted for a first look during the ceremony. As Alexie and her dad strolled down the dirt path towards the ceremony space, Corey turned around in tears upon seeing his beautiful bride. There wasnβt a dry eye during their ceremony, as they exchanged vows and took communion. I still canβt wrap my head around just how incredible the Maroon Bells looked looming overhead as Alexie and Corey said, βI doβ. It was a day Iβll always remember fondly.

After the ceremony, we spent some time taking group photos and newlywed portraits among the Maroon Bells. Just when I thought the area couldnβt get any more beautiful, we stumbled upon an ethereal, lush aspen grove. We soaked up all the beauty before making our way to a cute little pizza place (White House Pizza) in Carbondale, Colorado. While I donβt make the rules, it should probably be mandatory to have pizza after a wedding in the mountains. We snagged some cute photos outside the restaurant before heading inside to join the newlywedsβ crew.
Alexie and Coreyβs romantic Colorado micro-wedding at Maroon Bells Amphitheater concluded with the cutest little cake cutting. The cake featured 2 cats in wedding attire and was the perfect way to highlight the coupleβs fun personalities. This mountain wedding day will live in my head rent-free for the foreseeable future.
